On 19th August, three teams from Bishop Cotton Boys’ School participated in the Verbattle – Karnataka State Level Debate Competition at Chitrakala Parishad, Bengaluru. They debated bold topics such as “Nationalism is often an excuse for incompetence,” “Democracy has made people more irresponsible,” and “Indians are naturally racist.” With sharp reasoning and confidence, Pranav Jain and Glenn Harel qualified for the next round. The teams were accompanied by Ms. Suchismita Chaudhuri and mentored by Ms. Madhuri Nair Sanjeev.
